We were hosting a church get together at our home and had originally planned lasagna. However, money was tight and we had a decent sized pork roast in the freezer. We pulled it out and threw into the crock pot. The following day, everyone raved and asked for the recipe. This is an All American Recipe.
Ingredients
| 4-5lb | pork or beef roast |
| 1bottle | worcestershire |
| 1/4 cup | brown sugar |
| salt and pepper to taste | |
hamburger buns |
It is all really based on final taste desires.
Directions
- Put the pot roast in a crock pot over night (if to be served for lunch, morning if to be served for supper)
- remove any fat that is still solid, leaving melted fat (can be removed if you desire)
- Using a fork, pull the meat apart until it resembles a collection of string.
- Add the remaining ingredients and let simmer until the flavor has had time to infuse-- maybe 30min or longer.
